Job Summary
Allied Container Group is a leading container haulage operator and yard operator founded in Singapore in 1975. We are dedicated in using technology to improve the lives of small businesses and consumers in the logistics sector.
As part of the Technology & Operations team, we are looking for a developer to work in enterprise application development and deployment.
Responsibilities
1. Develop and maintain web services to support business function while adhering to performance and quality code best practices
2. Work with project team members to identify product requirements and define scope
3. Collaborate with UI/UX team to ensure consistency in design
4. Monitor and manage Cloud systems
5. Document product and project information
Qualifications
1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or related field
2. Hands-on development in PHP and strong understanding of PHP frameworks
3. Strong knowledge in frontend design (HTML/CSS/JS and related frameworks)
4. Good knowledge of databases like MySQL and others (NoSQL knowledge is a plus)
5. Experience in Git, SVN
6. Fundamental appreciation of UI/UX practices
7. Understanding of Cloud services e.g. AWS, Azure
8. Understanding of system testing, automated testing is a plus
